The Paper Trail that led us here
Paper Trail Bike Cafe is located Historic Rittenhouse Town at the site of the first paper mill in America, first established in 1690, built by William Rittenhouse and his son. Today, the barn is in the heart of Philadelphia’s Wissahickon Valley Park, featuring an expansive trail network, for bikers, hikers, walkers and everyone to enjoy the outdoors.
“Paper” and “Trail” pays homage to the rich history of the building that we are settled in. “Bike Cafe” is the foundation of our being, providing a full service bike shop and cafe to keep you moving and fueled.
Paper Trail’s theme is that of repurposing a unique and storied historical space into a functional and desired experience. A warm, friendly atmosphere inviting customers to learn HRT’s story alongside bikes, coffee and baked goods.
Born in 2020, Paper Trail Bike Cafe provides bike sales, custom builds, service, and repairs, as well as, a full service expresso bar with baked goods and trail snacks.
